Energy

As people’s standards of living continue to improve globally, even greater pressure is being put on the world’s energy resources. In addition to more efficient use of limited fossil fuels, the development of alternative sources of energy is key to satisfying this demand for energy in terms of transport, manufacturing, the rapid development of communication channels and domestic use.

It is estimated that in one hour the sun delivers enough energy to the earth, if harnessed, to satisfy the planet’s energy requirements for a year. As wind and solar energy both originate from the sun, theoretically one day we could satisfy all mankind’s energy requirements from these sources.

Power Stations

Working in collaboration with our business partners in the Middle East, started in 2013, we have successfully built a portfolio of gas powered power stations in the Middle East providing an output of 165 MW of electricity.

Our target for 2016 is to double our output using renewable energy sources. The PPP Group is working in collaboration with our business partners to achieve the added capacity through renewables including wind turbines and solar energy products.
